Nampa Dog Park Opening

Since last fall, the Nampa department of Parks and Recreation has been hard at work putting together a brand new off-leash dog park for Nampa. We are happy to announce that the park will be soon opening! The grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at the park on Monday, July 20th, 10:30am.

You and your furry companions are invited to be the first in town to enjoy all the dog park has to offer. The Park is located on the corner of East Amity Avenue and 2nd Street South, near the King’s road overpass. Donations are still being accepted, and the dog pond still needs funding.

The 6-Acre park features plenty of grassy play areas, with separate sections for large dogs and small dogs. Water fountains, shelters, benches and trash cans (complete with doggie clean-up bags!) all are easily accessible. Bathrooms are available for people too!

If you’re looking for more information, you can find it at the Nampa Parks and Recreation website. We hope to see you there!
